Welcome to The Media Network for a Smoke-Free Ontario (MN) website! We value our members' and other visitors’ right to privacy and will do everything we can to protect it. Our Privacy & Membership Policy is outlined below:

Membership:
Smoke-Free Ontario (SFO) project leaders, other SFO partners, and members of all organizations working in tobacco control are invited to become members of the MN. If you fall in this category, all you have to do is fill out our membership form and fax or mail it to us.

The MN reserves the right to restrict membership.

Server Privacy:
Our web server automatically recognizes a visitor's domain name or IP address. The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded. It is used solely to improve the content of our website and is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

Cookies:
The MN website does not utilize cookies in the password protected areas of the site. Cookies are not used to remember Member IDs. This means you will have to enter the password each time you visit the MN website

Personal Information:
Members may access our Membership Directory to find the contact information (e.g., name, phone number) of other members of the MN. This contact database is password protected. Members can correct inaccuracies by contacting us. The MN does not sell any of its members' personal information.

E-Mail:
If you are a member and wish to cancel your membership, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Publication Policy:
It is the responsibility of the MN members to ensure the accuracy of all content they provide to the MN for publication and/or communication to the membership, including e-mail and web site communication.

The MN accepts information for publication from its membership under the supposition that the information provided is correct. Should it become apparent that provided information is not correct, it will be removed from the web site, and a note of clarification will be sent to the membership. The MN reserves the right to refuse all future information for publication from any agency or individual who provides incorrect information.

If our information practices change, we will post any policy change to our website.
